Cleveland Chesterton Society

“… there are no words to express the abyss between isolation and having one ally. It may be conceded to the mathematicians that four is twice two. But two is not twice one; two is two thousand times one.”  G.K. Chesterton, The Man Who Was Thursday.
The Cleveland Chesterton Society was established in March of 2012, inspired by a fundraising lecture Dale Ahlquist gave for the Lyceum, a private Catholic secondary school in Cleveland.  We’ve been actively meeting ever since.  Our members come from as far away as Sandusky, OH.  Come enjoy some stimulating Chestertonian conversation with us!
The bust and portrait of Chesterton above are from the Chesterton Collection in John Carroll University’s Grasselli Library, just across the street from where we meet.
