Waco Chesterton Society – Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton
The Apostolate of Common Sense

Waco Chesterton Society

The Waco Chesterton Society meets the last Thursday or Friday of each month, or some other day of the month altogether. All are welcome, from those new to Chesterton’s writings to bonafide G.K. Chesterton scholars, and everyone in between. Meeting location varies, but typically we will be found in a local pub; we believe Uncle G.K. would want it that way.

Favorite past events include our annual Chesterton Christmas Party, Chesterton Boardgame nights, and our author head-to-head nights. In the past we have pitted Chesterton’s Father Brown against Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes, and compared and contrasted the humour of Chesterton to that of Douglas Adams, author of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Reading selections and meeting information is announced on our Facebook Page.
