I use to watch G.K. Chesterton Sunday nights many years ago and was fascinated by his intellect. He was one of the great thinkers in the history of the world and of the Church outdone perhaps by St. Thomas Aquinas. Perhaps my interest in him is the fact that he converted to Roman Catholicism and could defend his beliefs in God and Jesus Christ and the Church and perhaps never lost a debate or an argument or so I have recalled hearing. He is a formidable `defender of the faith`.
